AG6248C PoE has 48 10/100/1000BaseT copper ports plus 2 combo SFP ports and 2 SFP+ ports. Each copper port supports auto-sensing and auto negotiation. To further simplify network setups, all ports also automatically sense half- or full-duplex connections for high-speed server or switch-to-switch configurations. The AG6248C PoE provides power and data from a single point, using Power over Ethernet (PoE) over a single Cat-5 cable. All of these 48 10/100/1000Base-T ports can supply industry-standard IEEE 802.3at power over Ethernet. Advanced auto-sensing algorithm gives power only to 802.3at complied end devices, preventing of damaging proprietary PoE or non-PoE equipment.
